However, same as physical workplace injuries, psychological ones cannot be underestimated. Consider, for example, working in a dangerous industry such as construction or mining. Can you imagine how much stress workers (and their families) face every day and how much health damage it can cause, as it is not a secret lots of health issues come from stress? We really hope that improving safety at the workplace will diminish the stress indices among workers.
