By: mikecraig https://safetyatworkblog.com/2023/11/28/i-found-love-and-protection-at-the-world-congress/#comment-155192 Mon, 27 Nov 2023 23:30:57 +0000 https://safetyatworkblog.com/?p=106819#comment-155192 When I think all things health and safety over the years working across a number of professions for some of Australia’s largest companies – I think of the times I’ve been in meetings where people have paid “lip service” to health and safety or basically showed an attitude of I don’t care, doesn’t affect me, nothing happens to me..etc – it’s someone else problems. Etc

It means there are other matters to look at before focusing on health and safety – something that always resonated with me is you cannot mandate culture. Also you cant chance someone’s beliefs and hard to change values, but behaviors can be worked on and developed.
