In Victoria and I am sure accross the nation, mental health services have decreased and also long waiting lists to see a psychologist mean that some are left to seek support, that is often not available to them. One other area that has grown is suicide by truck, having the same impact on drivers as that of train drivers.

Suicide across the board is a great concern, to those of us who work in grief support work, tragically work related suicide is most often under reported, because the agencies like Coroners, police etc do not ask what was going in in “their work life”.
We need a far more holistic approact to suicide prevention, where funds are available to really make change, not just tokenism.
