However, the “revenge” attitude you refer to is not driven from the union ideological position, it is driven by the depth of despair of the families and the workers who experience these things. The Union is the ‘coal face’ of that grief.

Industrial manslaughter laws need to enforced with the capability to enforce those laws.
Individual accountability is a necessary deterrent AS WELL AS corporate industrial manslaughter deterrents. I see them as two different things. Neither exist in any real form in most States in any enforceable form.

The continuation of treating workers as if they are some sort of replaceable commodity is at stark odds with any other ‘work service provider” such as the military , the police, the politician (though the last one is frankly debatable). The workforce and in particular the construction or labour heavy workforce suffer injustice at almost all levels in the judiciary as well as the political systems

One piece of the puzzle needs to be put into place ie. Industrial manslaughter so that others can then be placed in. Its a long battle to justice.
